Our Villa is perfectly situated within close proximity to many beautiful beaches. A number of these beaches have blue flag status which means they meet strict safety, water quality and environmental criteria.  We understand Porec has the most blue flag beaches of any region in Istria.  

The majority of beaches here tend to be rocky or pebbly and therefore we would suggest wearing water shoes.  Designated beaches have rubbish bins, changing areas, showers, bars and restaurants.  Some have chair and umbrella rentals and a variety of water activities; jet-skis, pedal boats or parachute and banana rides.  Near some, you may find small grocery stores.  Public toilets are not common although you may use the restaurants if you are dining with them.

There is usually lots of shade available, some of the more rustic beaches have trees surrounding them where you can set up camp for the day - perhaps even find somewhere to hang your hammock.  You may find there are very limited (port-a-loos) or no toilet facilities available.
